My MIL had left over nipples from my SIL baby but I think they were size 1s because he kept getting choked up and milk would run out of his mouth so I could only use the same 4 bottles. So my mom got him size 0 and I used it with one of the bottles that originally had a 1 and he did better. No milk running out and he didn't get choked up

It depends. If your baby not getting anything out you need to move up to next nipple

So if the 0 is working for u stick with it. My baby wasn't getting much out of them so we've recently gone to 1
