My sister had her Dr appointment on the 23rd. They did urine test and it was dark positive before the control line popped up. Dr did an ultrasound and said she (my sister) wouldn't be able to see anything but that her uterus looks healthy. Dr tried to listen for a heartbeat and said its still too early. She was 5 weeks 1 day at this appointment. Does all this sound normal, I've never been seen that early so that's why I'm asking. They told her she is in indeed pregnant and to not stress.

That’s all normal the soon to be baby is basically a tiny ball of cells right now.

Yeah they wouldn’t even do an ultrasound on me at 5 weeks bc there’s literally nothing to see or hear. They waited until i was 7 weeks

Totally normal. I had a scan last week at 5 weeks 1 day and we saw nothing but a sac. That early on there isn’t anything to see.

Very normal! I didn’t have an ultrasound until 8 weeks for that very reason of it being too early at five weeks.

I had an ultrasound at 4 weeks and 3 days when I was pregnant, and there was no heartbeat or baby visible. It's because of how small the 'baby' (it's honestly just cells right now, as someone else said) would be at this point.

Could be possible. When I found out I went to the hospital thinking I had a sinus infection turns out I was 5w5d but they were able to pick up a strong heartbeat for me though.
