Please no fights now, I just would like to see some opinions before I make a decision. So here is my question. When is a good time to take your baby out for the first time?
I still haven’t taken my son out. He turned a month old Monday... it’s the middle of RSV and flu season so it might be March before I take him out honestly... like all my family are nurses, teachers and bank employees so they are all dealing with sick people and sick kids and germy money all day long so I would rather be safe than sorry. He has just been to his doctors appointments. I may be taking it a little extreme but I know how devastating it can be when your child at this age to catch the flu or RSV so, my family calls me crazy but I don’t care.
The day we got discharged from the hospital we went to my uncles house. All the men were out of town so we had a nice girls day to celebrate my daughters birth. We went on our first real outing at 1 week. We went on a walk at the park. Macie stayed in her car seat/stroller combo with her shade pulled up so the sun couldn’t get her. Walked for about 45 minutes. It was so nice to get out of the house.
I took mine out when she was 2 months someplace outdoors so she could get some sun and fresh air but i suggest eaitibg until theyre atleast 3/4 months for malls and public places whether ur doing vaccines or not... But thats just me lol
