I would really appreciate some tips on how to get my kids eczema under control..

@jayraemama, I used dove for sensitive skin. But it's not really doing anything she still wakes up dry after dove bath, and a eucerin rub down with hydrocortisone with aloe in it 🤦🏾‍♀️

Ezcema comes from allergies, avoid the allergy and the ezcema goes away.

@beemommyof3, user up an appointment with an allergist. I'm hoping it's just environmental things tho

It most likely is food allergy. My kids all have allergies and they have ezcema from it. It is the bodies reaction to things it doesnt like. It cant be covered with hydrocortisone. Gotta get to the root of the problem

@beemommyof3, yea she got her allergies from me but mine are environmental I haven't found any foods that I'm allergic too.

Are food allergies inherited??

@ambergainer Mine are environmental as well. And Nope. I have none. My kids have everything lol. Dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, cats, dogs

@beemommyof3, 🤦🏾‍♀️ lord have mercy.. she better not have any food allergies cause all she eats is yogurt, her fave drink is chocolate milk and she love pb & j 😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️

They have dairy free alternatives and peanut free butter so no worries

No problem and your welcome. Im taking my daughter now, her latest allergy is banana so she has them just like her brothers.

Try raw shea butter and don't bathe her as frequent use Cetaphil wash and lotion unscented.. Use warm water because the warmer the water the more it will irritate her skin. I've had it since I was 4 and I'm not the only one in the household with it. You should have her tested for allergies and most ppl with eczema tend to have asthma. Ask your family doctor if the info I've given you is dead on. I'm here if you need more suggestions. Oh apply lotion daily even on off bath days too..keep her skin moisturized especially the areas predisposed

@starting_over39, thank you.. I gotta make an appointment with an allergist. And her doctor has never said anything about her having asthma but I have always felt like she breaths funny.

They usual have it or develop it. They usually go hand in hand but not always would never say that hut mostly unfortunately.
