My first child’s dad and I broke up when I 7mths pregnant because I found out he was cheating on me with a much older woman. It honestly was one of the most hurtful things I had ever been through. It took me a while to get over that too. So I know where you are coming from.
@myboys1962, he did try to come back but I was so hurt from it I couldn’t do it. So from that point on we just co parented. I had to really pray and ask god to heal my heart because I couldn’t do it on my own. But if there is a chance you guys want to work it out , that’s completely up to you and don’t let anyone make you feel bad about it. As far as my story goes, we never did get back together and 9 years later I married someone else who not only loves me and treats me well, his does the same for my son( who is now hubbys stepson). We just had a baby 7weeks ago. So I’m a firm believer God always has a greater plan even when we don’t understand why things happen.
