Your baby may not have the reflex yet to push the food to the back of her mouth to swallow. It’s normal for a baby to want to push anything foreign out with their tongue. Did you dr. already okay solids? We tried at 4.5 months with my baby girl. No luck. Waited a couple of weeks and she started doing better. Now at 6 months she’s eating like a champ.
No need to rush it. Solids before one are just for fun. All the nutrients your baby needs to thrive is in your breast milk or formula.
@lydia09876, @bunnydovexo, I wasn’t judging at all. I’m sorry if you took offense to it. I didn’t feel like I was being nasty in any way. I apologize. I wasn’t saying you were doing anything wrong. I didn’t feel like you did anything wrong. All I know is that it can be frustrating when starting your baby on new things or training them to do new things. I’ve done it with multiple children myself. I was trying to be supportive not a bi$?@. Again I’m sorry.
