Suggestions on how to transition my baby from our bed to her crib. I epically failed at nursing and placing her back in her cosleeper at night and I knew this day would come. Cry it out method; isn't there something else I could try?

I’m going through this too 😩 I’ve been letting him fall asleep in our bed and then picking him up and putting him in his crib. That’s the only way he’ll stay asleep. Not sure if it’s the right thing to do 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son is now 1 year old. I tried letting him cry out to condition him. But I think differently now. He sleeps in our bed part of the night. We put him to sleep in our bed first then transfer him to his crib. Most days, he wakes up around 2-4am to come back to our bed and back to sleep. We basically co-sleep with him part of the night. Some disagree with this done likes the idea and studies done on co-sleeping with your child until certain age. What do you want to do and why? Is that best for you, your baby? Then seek out for resources to help you accomplish this.

I'll be dealing with this in a few months again. My daughters slept with me till they were 4years old, and now I'm cosleeping with my 3 week old baby. I love snuggling with them and going to sleep, and it also makes breastfeeding so much easier. I'm sure I'll get alot of comments about how bad is and how dangerous it is and blah blah blah. I already know everything about the risks and blah blah blah, so I don't need to see everyone's negative comments. Anyways, yeah it's def not a good time, believe me!

I let my son fall asleep in our bed and once he was out good I would stand with him and sway for a little then slowly laid him down. Then I'd put my hand on his tummy or back so he still felt the pressure from being held. He also really loved/loves when i put my hand over his ear that wasnt on the bed and it still helps him sleep. I think the pressure helps them feel secure. It took a lot of patients but it was worth every minute.
