Well all the doctors have me kind of worried that my son isn't walking yet. And I was just reading online and for sitting and crawling he didn't do those till the latest he should. And I read that some babies don't walk till 16-17 months so maybe this month will be his month to walk since it was like that for everything else lol he did roll over early though and hold his head up from right after birth. He's just a late bloomer is all. I feel a little better having just read that. But he's being evaluated next Friday just to make sure everything is alright with him.

@missheatherbaby, all his doctors are like he's not hitting his milestones he should be walking. At first I wasn't that concerned but now it's getting farther along and he still isn't when most kids by 17 months are walking. So I hope he's just taking his time.

Maybe he's just scared he'll fall. Try encouraging him to walk by holding his hand and guiding him.

Every baby is different. My uncle didn't walk until he was 18 months old 🤷🏽♀️

@chasha2017, my mom said I didn't walk till I was 15 months and that my cousin didn't walk till she was almost 2. I mean really I'm in no hurry for him to walk lol but these doctors all make it seem like it's a problem that he's not 😒 he's been a late bloomer with most of his mile stones so I'm just assuming he is with walking too. He's a nervous nelly and I think he's afraid.

Aww maybe he is. My son gave me no indication whatsoever that he was even remotely interested in walking then all of a sudden, just 2 days ago, he just got up and walked! You never know, he might surprise u just like my son did. Lol

Like I said, every baby is different. He'll walk eventually.
