So my 9yr old SD is in 2nd grade. She never passed kindergarten and was in self contained classes for a year. Now she lives with us. She's in second grade but one a first grade level. She has improved allot. But the teachers are recommending Saturday school and summer school. None of this makes sense to her mom. She's pissed. Saying that it doesn't make sense that my SD is improving but still needs the extra help of Saturday school and summer school. And getting mad at me asking if I was the one that suggested Saturday school and saying that if she doesn't take her on her weekends then she's going to look like a bad parent. She's looked like a bad parent from the start. She's the one that couldn't be bothered to take her to tutoring when she still had custody, I did that, she's the one that gave up teaching her when she was homeschooling and just let her sit out an entire year. But now she's worried about looking bed?? Too late for that shit.
