@ilovemykids97, That's totally understandable! Each situation is diff. You definitely need one person's income to cover the necessities of life. Even if one person has 2 incomes. I hope it gets better for you
But you do need an income that can pay the bills. I was SAHM for almost a year. I just started working again because hubby got cut hours so our bills weren't getting paid. I mean rent, water, electric, and gas. We don't have internet or cable or anything, we never eat out either. So there's nothing for us to be able to cut back
@kaylaxxxxx, Yessss! And when you get in the cycle of budgeting for a while, you'll find money within that budget to get those things like MAC make up. We put grooming and date nights in our budget because that's important for us. It's so worth it!
Amen! Everyone thinks me and my fiancé are rich but we just cut back on things. I don’t buy expensive makeup, clothes and rarely go out. It’s a sacrifice but well worth it 😊
@krisfreeman, I've been married for 7 years and been a SAHM the entire time. My husband is awesome with the finances, we sit and do a budget at the beginning of every month and we've never went without. It's so worth it ❤️
Definitely don't have to be... I've been a SAHM for going on 2 years & we're 👌🏽 thanks to me lol because my husband can't budget bills & household items like me
