My luck. I'm so sleep deprived I'm thinking I'll nap when both the kids nap. Except like all week, one went down and the other wouldn't. So I have lunch. And then think fuck it. I'll take Hamza into bed with me, he's a newborn, he'll have milk and fall asleep. No lie. The minute I lie down Zaid wakes up. I'm now on the floor in his room, he's back to sleep, hamza is drifting off on the boob and I'm genuinely contemplating just lying on the floor and knocking out. I'm that tired.

Ive slept on the floor before 😂

@kayteamay I totally would have if it weren't for the newborn I was still carrying 😭

I remember the mixed naps. After a few months I got it so they both went down same time after lunch at least. Then before I knew it Morgan stopped his naps altogether! Does Hamza not lay by himself at all so you can at least chill on the sofa with a cuppa?

@sara-lou86 I'll be honest when I'm not tired I don't mind the naps at separate times because rn if they wake at the same time, they both need me at the same time, one for lunch or cuddles another for boobs. But today it was the sleep deprivation and someone is going through a growth spurt. He's a great napper usually and content for the most part, today he's wanted milk ALL DAY LONG. Napped maximum 20 mins, even on my chest it was 10 minute nap. He's having moments of contentment, where I sort Zaid some stuff, had lunch, peed, etc. But other than that, it's been feeding all day.

Gosh I don't know how you do it! I thought Max was a demanding baby but he also slept a lot between feeds or was happy to lay on his bouncer for a while at a time. Hopefully once he's past this growth spurt he'll go longer periods so you can walk (or lay) about it bit more!

@sara-lou86 it's taxing me a lot. Husband came home and held him for 30 minutes while I went bathroom and stuff and I felt a weight lift off me. He's now back on for feeding! I just have to remind myself that this isn't the norm with him. I had such a bad experience with Zaid, he only ever slept 15 to 45 mins in the day time and barely at night either, I cried for 4 months with him, so I know hard and Hamza isn't that. Have to have a bit of patience. Unfortunately all my anger gets misdirected to Zaid and his dad.
