@kartersmommyy I don't blame you at all. Can you start hand expressing? Or pumping? Is it too late? I'm not super informed.

@halifax6, idk if it’s too late.. if anything i want to still pump. i tried expressing and nothing came out, they’re hurting too bad now to even touch them

The first few weeks can be difficult. But you still have time to try again. Don't give up! I know it hurts but it'll be worth it once you get the hang of it

@messiah-mommy, i breast fed my baby the day he was born & i haven’t since. do you think if i try to get him to latch, it would work?

@kartersmommyy yes! They have a natural reflex to suck anyhow, you just may have to guide him to latch properly.... It was difficult for me to. She had sucked my nipples raw. Blood and all because she wasn't latching correctly.... Try either tapping his cheek to get him to open or wait til he cries and opens his mouth wide enough for you to just stick your nipple in.... Also talk to a lactation consultant they can give you more tips. But please don't give up

@kartersmommyy I would just try! If you have a pump, you can just start pumping. The first few times, I got nothing then I got like three drops, then full 1 ml syringe, then two, then three and I just got 5.5Ml in one pump secession! Lol you can do this! :]

You might have to pump first so you aren't so engorged when he latches @kartersmommyy ....I got one baby to latch at 5 months 😁 she was more interested in the flow of the bottle by that time tho. He is just days old, it's very possible!
