I would call dr (talk to on call nurse) and tell her. It can be a reaction but usually the reasction would happen in a short time. . . id still call and make sure.

@littleone23, his dr office was no help so we are going to the er. I gave him Benadryl and the spots have combined

@noahs.mommy they say not to use benadryl until older about 2-3yr unless prescribed by dr(which isnt common) Baby Tylenol or motrin is better for them. Which dr usually will still need to say if okay and what dose to give them.

Make sure you mention to the nurse you gave him benedryl..

@littleone23, yeah he had bronchitis in October and I was told a half a teaspoon of Benadryl was fine and they just told me earlier today to give him some which I already did and it didn’t help the welts

Anyways, have you used different detergent or soap? Is it warm to the touch? Have you put diaper rash ointment on? A&D is my favorite. Works wonders.

How was the er

@littleone23, it’s in-grated tissue(soft tissue trapped under his skin) that caused an infection which can turn into an abscess but he has antibiotics for it so that it does turn abscess.

I just had an abcess a couple weeks ago. Hurt so bad. Glad they caught it early.
