I’m thinking my baby boy has reflux! He’s vomiting after each bottle and cries and whines after he eats. You can smell the acidity on his breath I feel so bad for him I have a call into the doctors office to see what they can do for him, it’s effecting his sleep too! Ugh poor baby

My little man spent 4 months in the nicu because did reflux. My advice is burp him every 5 ml or 1 ounce, yes it will take longer for him to burp doing that. Also feed him with him setting in a up right position and keep him like that for like 5 minutes after as well. Another thing they had me do with mine was put a little cereal in his bottle with the formula to thicken it a little.

My son could not drink Similac because it was hard on his belly. He was on Enfamil sensitive.

It’s possible he has a stomach bug. Usually they get reflux at only a few weeks old and then they outgrow it around 6mo. It would be surprising to hear that he just started having reflux issues at 4mo. But I am not a doctor! Try and keep him hydrated ❤️

@shellbell0391, I just spoke to his doctors office the nurse told me he could have reflux because he’s had issues since a month old but they changed his formula and it seemed to help so they want me to burp him once every 2 ounces and feed him rice cereal a few spoons of it right before his bed time bottle...then have him sit upright for 30 min before laying him down
