Okay so my son is 11 months old, we coslept from newborn to 4 months while breastfeeding. Ever since Then I’ve been trying to get him to sleep on his own. He can’t and won’t go to sleep without me. I hate to lay him down and let him cry but I’m thinking that’s what I’m probably going to have to do. I’ve tried it before and checked on him every 5 minutes for 20 minutes and it didn’t work he got over tired and it was a horrible day afterwards. Any advice is welcome! He also has his room if you’d think that’d help.

@mommy.to.sterling, mainly I get him to sleep then lay him down and he will sleep on his own. But he doesn’t sleep through the night and sometimes if I’m trying to get him back to sleep I end up falling asleep with him waiting on him to get into a deeper sleep.

@mommy.to.sterling, mixture of both, some times one night he wants to eat or sometimes he just needs to be put to sleep, or if he loses his pacifier in his sleep. And he won’t stay laying down he gets up and starts jumping lol
