Congratulations on your job though even if it is bittersweet! It will be good for him to make some new friends and good social skills! You can do this!!!

I’m in the exact same boat as you! I start working sometime this week and I’m heartbroken about leaving my son, and i start school next week so I’m going to be away from him so much. How are you coping with the change? Are putting him in daycare? I wanted to but it’s so expensive and scary!

@aidensmomm, I start in a week or two. But I'm already not coping well. I broke down crying last night because he's growing so fast and I'm scared I'm going to miss everything important, first words, walking, crawling, rolling over.😭😭 and I have to put him in daycare I'm so terrified I've been researching them SOOOO much trying to find the best one

@dalliesmama, It will be a nice break too. At least just to take a breather.

Yeah I would look for recommendations from moms around you or that you know. I think it’s safer that way and you know they went or are going through the same thing as you.

@dalliesmama, I COMPLETELY understand that. It is difficult. After I became a mom I decided that I wanted to change my answer for what do you want be when you grow up to Being A Mom lol

@deansmom17, my husband has 3 other kids that go to daycare and I've heard great things from other mamas. It's out of the way but I'm thinking about there because I'd feel safe. They also went to one called stepping stones that I've heard amazing things about. I just don't want nothing to happen to him. I don't want him to lie there and scream and cry. I want him to feel safe and comfortable

@deansmom17, it is. It's so hard and stressful but I wouldn't change it for anything. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me. My biggest blessing.

@dalliesmama, definitely! And going the extra mile for a daycare you feel comfortable with is super worth it! The first day will be the hardest.
