Ladies I need advise...so I'm a nanny and I'm losing my job but this lady is keeping me on the fence and never giving me a for sure answer so I never know if I'm working or not. Monday she said she would bring the kids to me but didn't bc she forgot it was a holiday. Then she said she would bring them today but didn't bc she "didn't feel like getting them dressed" I'm about to have a baby and c ant live off of $100 checks but can't find a new job bc she says she still needs me and well work it out...im considering telling her that she needs to pay me for those 2 days bc It was her fault and it's a huge inconvenience...what would you all do? How would u react if u were the mom?

I would have her pay if she took her kids to a daycare whether she took them that day or not she still gotta pay them.. you have to make money and specially if it’s keeping u from getting another job she can’t do that to you

@nikki9109 ok thank you...thats what I was thinking but my boyfriend said "that's not how it works" but he doesn't really know how it works lol

I would explain that it is not just you, it's your baby and you need to have some job security. You need to do whatever is necessary to provide for baby

Mama sometimes u gotta make the tough decision, i had to leave my job because it wouldn’t be enough to sustain my baby and myself. It doesnt look like she is taking your work serious enough. Try looking on work websites such as indeed and monster. They work great!

@mom2bei I have been doing that but I'm in a bind bc I don't have transportation and no one lives by me that could give me rides so it's tough finding a job...but thank You! I will keep trying!

@babymomma2018, im sorry to hear that. on indeed.com you can narrow jobs down to the zip code hopefully u get lucky and can find one even closer than u expected

@lana2018 my car died on me and I don't have money to fix it...i can only get a ride to her house but can't pick up her 7 year old from school and don't have a ride home
