@kartersmommyy Awesome, so after clarification, I got what you're saying. Let me ask you this, did you give the baby your colstrum when he was first born or at least tried breast feeding? The reason I ask, is because I was able to breast feed the first 6 hours of my daughter's life, then she was taken to the NICU and I had to immediately start pumping every two hours.

You can pump and feed your baby with the bottle if that's what you wanna do. Everybody's different but my milk came in when I was 3 days post partum. My baby was premature tho so he was in the nicu. I pumped everyday for him what I could. My milk dried up though. Just tell A nurse that you wanna pump and they'll bring you a pump and attachments to use.

@noturprops, yes i breast fed him all day yesterday and introduced formula to him today and he’s done really well with the bottle but i still want him to get my breast milk

@kartersmommyy Pump immediately!!! Keep it up every two hours! Trust me, the more he gets, the better for him. I got sort of discouraged because I noticed I was pumping less and less and had to supplement with formula, but I tell you, ANY amount of our miracle boobie juice is what our babies need. I have a silicon pump to catch the let down when I only nurse from one boob. Instead of letting it leak into a pad and waste it. Someone else has a chance of feeding him later on. I loved it with my youngest
