Anyone’s little one born with a milk allergy? (Not lactose intolerance, an actual milk allergy.) what was the experience? How did little one act? If you weren’t breastfeeding, what formula did you use?? I think my son might have a milk allergy. /: he wheezes a lot when eating and a few minutes after. Plus all the puking.

Yes my son has a milk allergy. We put him on soy formula and he adjusted just fine. All of the other formulas made him constipated and he would spit up a lot. If you are breastfeeding I would suggest taking dairy out of your diet.

@theinkedmommy, hmmm. /: he doesn’t cry. Like at all. Besides the puking he’s actually an incredibly easy baby.

@amouryaya09, I would love to breastfeed, but it’s just not in he cards for me. ): but I’ll be talking to his dr tomorrow about whether it’s an allergy or something else.

@theinkedmommy, I will in the morning. We saw pedi last Tuesday and we go in tomorrow for weight check anyway. The puking didn’t turn into an issue until about Thursday or Friday.

@brianne, they most likely won’t test him because he’s so young. I was told my son would grow out of it. Just make sure you get something in writing if you decide to get wic.

My son puked up 3 different formulas when he was first born before his doctor put him on enfamil ar and he was fine after that. It has rice in it, he had, has acid reflux and still throws up some even at 5 years old
