Ok y’all I need your expertise. Ok so I’m a dummy. You’d think with this being my fourth pregnancy…

This was my 6 week ultrasound

So, ultrasounds aren't perfect. I always measured behind and they told me it wasn't viable because "with this much hcg we should see a heart beat or something". My nugget always measured behind by a few days and I was 100% sure of my LMP. Then at 8 week exactly he measured exact. Now the fucker is measuring ahead. Don't worry. It's not too late or concerning.

She didn’t seem concerned or say miscarriage or anything like that she just told me I’m too early. I don’t think I’ve ever been to do an ultrasound this early so I didn’t know if it was truly too early or if she was just telling me that to be positive. But I did read that a yolk sac is a good sign. But there was no fetal pole but she also said it was possible that I’m not exactly 6 weeks just yet. All they saw literally was the yolk sac

@maloaug yeah I understand. This pregnancy has been a learning expirience for me about how much the first few weeks is a sit and wait game and how absolutely nothing is exact in pregnancy.

@worlds.okayest.mom, My next appt is for 1-29-18, so I hope all goes well. Good thing my husband didn’t come to this one bc he doesn’t understand all this. He just wants to know if there’s a baby or no baby? Lol

@maloaug my husband was at every hospital and doctor visit until they cleared me of all the complications so he got a crash course in everything. They first diagnosed me with an abdominal pregnancy and told me I needed to have an abortion or I would die. The next day we got a second opinion and they were like "looks good to me". Then I started bleeding and they saw something on my ovary and said I was having twins and one was ectopic and I needed an abortion. Then it was "woops sorry, it was just a cyst" but I had 2 subchrorionic bleeds which left me at a 50/50 chance of miscarriage. Then magically it all cleared up. It was a very mentally draining first trimester.

@worlds.okayest.mom, that sounds like a very nerve wrecking first trimester. I think the fact that she didn’t seem alarmed made me feel better too

@maloaug yes, that's always the best thing. The first doctor (who told me I was having an abdominal) just came in and started asking all these questions all out of fucking left field and I was like "dude, who are you, I've been here for 4 hours and haven't met you yet, why are you asking these things?? Am I ok??"

@worlds.okayest.mom, yeah I was kinda like why are they being so nonchalant!!! But I guess I should’ve taken that as a sign that this was normal. But still when you’re pregnant you always worry about every single little things anyway
