I would like to teach my son some basic signs like "stop" "hungry" "thirsty" "sleep" "tired" etc.
Any idea how to go about doing that? Like should I do one word at a time or every time I say the word I sign it too? Or sign it and say it everytime he eats, goes to sleep, etc? He's been paying more and more attention to us so I want to start asap and see how fast he can pick it up.

I just incorporate the signs I want him to learn into our everyday activities. Like “eat” , “more” “all done” “Mom” and “Dad” he seems to be starting to understand “more” and we’ve only been working on it for almost 2 months

Everytime you say the word, sign it. When you can, show him how to do it while you say it

i sign everytime i talk ive been starting w my name is so i ask hin what his name is in sign and then i say "say my name is..." and spelll his name out for him bt go on youtube and type in signing time its fun and both of u can learn. once u get the hang of it itll be natural to sign and talk. i tell my son u want milk? and i sign it and say "say milk" all while signing as well.

Baby signing time on YouTube has those basic needs signs! I would baby a young girl for two years and she learned very quickly.
