I have the same problem with Maeve. She just wants to cuddle into me. You dont sound like a bad mum. Its human to want 5 minutes break! X

@kayteamay it's nice knowing I can settle her but literally just want to dry my hair and I can't knowing she's crying down stair my partner is trying everything to calm her but she just won't calm soon as I hold her she stops and it upset my partner cos it's me who puts her sleep every night x

My little girl is the same and still like this now she’s nearly 1, she likes being close to me and having cuddles when going to sleep so I’ve found giving her my dressing gown or something I’ve worn that’s soft to snuggle why she is with my boyfriend helps her settle with him xx

@kimheaton I swaddled my little girl and she fights it but gives up in the end and goes sleep but she will only sleep with me. I've tried giving my partner my dressing down but she must know my body type to know it's not me or the smell I don't know but she knows straight away if it isn't me xx

@chloemcmahon96, no don’t worry I don’t think you sound bad at all I’ve felt the same many times, it’s hard work being a Mum everyone goes through the stressed and needing a minute stages and if they say they don’t they are clearly lying haha 😂xx

@kimheaton I do admit I'd love five mins or a bath I don't have to share or my partnerbasking how long I'm gonna be cos she crying. I spend every single day with her where as my partner goes to work so he does get a break he's out out the house xx

I took a shit the other day with a one year old on my lap and a 3 year old watching and the 3 year old isn't even my child hahaha

Max was super attached to me as a young baby. Took a while before my husband could have him for more than 20mins. They just gotta carry on having father & daughter time whenever they can. Bathing, changing, playing etc. Before long they'll have an amazing bond & you'll get some alone time!
