The finger toothbrushes helped too. You can massage his gums. Honestly the only thing that helped my son was breastfeeding. I think 2m is a little young for anything else
He likes that? You can try breastmilk or formula popsicles then. If you don't have a mold you can just use a Ziploc or an ice tray. Or even a Tupperware.

Teething? I would try a cold rag or teether first.

I was told that Motrin is too much for a baby that young, but i would ask your pediatrician

@kambam, I don't have any of those things. All I have are the teething ring toys and he don't like them. I have to put his pacifiers in the freezer
