I say do it until your milk goes away or his teeth comes in and it's painful! It's the best thing for babies!

@worlds.okayest.mom, right... my husband would be in shocked. His family likes to judge. I do it cause well I can, anything to make my baby happy and keep me from losing it.

I only weaned 2 weeks ago because of switching birth controls.

Everyone kept telling me to wean her even her doctor 🙄. I was like we will wean when WE are ready and on her Terms. When I weaned she was eating 3 x a day !!

I told my husband I would stop at 7 and he said fine lol

So does my daughter but she still enjoyed her milkie. But she was just drinking for a second then getting off so I was like... Yeah you're ready if you're treating it like a game. I cried the other day though because she wasn't feeling good and tried latching though nothing came out... She just wanted comfort and I couldn't give it to her 😭😭😭

I started weaning at 1 year and cut the breakfast feeding the first two weeks, then for the next month the middle of the day feeding, then the last month the bedtime feeding. I switched to a sippy cup of warm milk. So over all three months to be completely weaned without screams at night.

@ashleydunn, the comfort for sure. His teeth are coming and I just want hug him and he flips lol. No games yet from him but he does like to feel and look.

Tell him the longer you breastfeed the more it reduces your chance of getting breast cancer and that its 100% healthier for him than cows milk
