When did everyone stop sterilizing?

I've heard once they go onto cows milk to stop sterilizing xx

I did about 11 months as he was putting loads of stuff into his mouth anyway so he was gonna pick a few germs up! Xx

Its 1 in most places the age too stop sterilizing iv seen a few girls say 6 months in different areas ryder is nearly 11 months hes everywhere touching everything putting everything in his mouth so am wondering if the Is any point x @winterbaby95

@chesscalouise2 Yeah its true they touch lots of stuff. I think its because of the formula though you have to still sterilize xx

You are supposed to sterilize any bottles and bowls etc that formula milk goes in. I just do bottles though, I've never done bowls, cutlery etc but I wash them in very hot soapy water. Xx

I stopped sterilizing at 7 months just wash in hot soapy water XX

I've not sterilized since he was 6 months mine broke and I just make sure his bottles are cleaned well he shoves absolutely everything in his mouth anyway and chews on nasty stuff when I'm not looking and he's still living and healthy so think it's ok haha xx

I just give them a good clean then put boiling hot water in them for a few minutes tip it out then make his bottle up now he's 11 months health visitor said thats ok xx @chesscalouise2 :)
