So I got a summons to appear for jury duty....I think they will excuse me because baby girl is only 2 months old and she is still getting breast milk, and NO ONE else in her world can give her that except me, but because her daddy works 3rd shift I have to leave her with my dad and step mom. Talk about PANIC ATTACK!! I was trying to get their carseat installed today and was talking to my step mom about the anchor latches, she asked me if it really mattered if the carseat base moved side to side.....I repeat, "does it really matter if it moves side to side?"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!!! This is the only option I have of a sitter while I deal with the dumb jury duty crap. Jesus take the wheel moment.

I just got one at end of December. I went to the online website on the paper and asked to b exused and request was granted same day. I am a stay at home mom and hubby works out of town m-f
My MIL says I strap my son in too tight and constantly tells me to put a jacket on him.
@jdgregg, they wouldn't let you write in or do it online? My fiance got excused by using the online questionnaire.
I wrote back once that I worked a commission job and I'd lose a day or days worth of pay, and they excused me.
Still sucks that I have to go and sit and wait for an unknown amount of time, hopefully I can talk to the court clerk first thing and not have to be there more than 15 minutes.
I got one too when my daughter was younger and I wrote almost same thing baby is breastfeeding and im stay home mom no one can take care of her and they excused me. I hope same happens for u
No such luck but was excused from grand jury and put back into the jury pool, but talked to court clerks secretary and she said she'd put my name at bottom of call in list,
