@tattooedmamalion, I had a c-section also but I never got to breast feed my baby till a week later because she was in the hospital due to complications. So I had to pump and pump and when we got home she wouldn’t take the breast milk but I kept trying.

Never pump and dump. You can breastfed with the medications you take with a csection

Also babies dont need that much milk and I think that is where a lot of people fall into the formula trap. Breastfed babies need half as much breastmilk

@beemommyof3, I started to pump right after I got out of the hospital because the hospital I was in didn’t give me any pump like they were supposed to. So I pumped as soon as I got home and would freeze it because we weren’t sure how long our baby would be in the hospital.
