So my daughter been failing her hearing test since birth .. and I find myself getting upset 😢 because she’s two and doesn’t even talk !! She only has a good 3 words in her vocabulary and mommy isn’t one . I find myself comparing my child to my friends kids who are way ahead of her 😢 I just hope my baby gets her hearing aides soon.. and another worry for me is she’ll be stared at or teased !!

She is so precious!! I hope her hearing aids help a lot. And I compare my 1 year old with Down syndrome , to other kids his age or even younger that are doing stuff he isn’t even starting to do. And then I feel bad that I compare him. But it’s kinda hard not to. And I also worry he will get teased so bad in life like I did. However after his open heart surgery at 6 months he made a bunch of good changes

@1sttimegypsymama, it’s hard !! But we have to make sure we let them know how special they are & how much we love them because it’s a cruel world!! & we know people are not so nice !! & Your son is such a cutie too 💕 just try to get them all the help they may need !!

@yazhiyahsmuva, thank you. Yes it’s very hard. I couldn’t believe that when I was still pregnant and we found out he had Down syndrome that the doctors all wanted me to end the pregnancy. I can’t imagine him not being in this world.
