So this little boy definitely took me by surprise...

Friday was supposed to be when I had my appointment to check progress and essentially schedule an induction. Well he had other plans. Woke up with bad contractions at about 3-3:30. Finally decided to go in, thinking it was a false alarm. Checked into the hospital at 4:30 am (only an hour or so after waking up with contractions) and he was born at 4:42 am. I had no epidural like I had hoped to get. He popped out a whopping 8 pounds 15 ounces! I was crying and in so much pain for a few hours after, but was actually able to pee on my own with no assistance an hour after having him. Lol. That was refreshing for me since I had epidurals with my other two. The next day I had my tubal ligation and the spinal for that ultimately made me pee everywhere.... I thought I had most feeling back, and I wasn’t exactly wrong. I was just still completely numb in the crotch area, including being unable to hold in my pee till I got to the toilet. Lol. I peed as I sat up and walked to the bathroom... that was fun... 🙄

Now we are home and I’m trying to get myself organized for school and everyone in the house is sick. EVERYONE..... including my little man. So we have a dr appt today.
