My SO has been decent as far as getting what we need for our new place, still with a lot of complaining, but I’ll give him credit. However he’s still not meeting my needs emotionally. He can never give me reassurance when I need it most when I am stressing about a job and school, raising 2 babies, etc. he’s just so indifferent and unemotional. We have been away from him all weekend in FL for my great grandmothers funeral and we come over after running around all day to see him and stay like we usually do. We’re sitting in the living room with his sister, parents, and friends and he decides to bring up a conversation about money in which he sounds like a complete moron (like always), and everyone started arguing back with him, so he got mad and went to go pout in his room. I left him alone and went in there a while later bc the baby was kicking and I could feel it outside of my belly for the first time. I wanted him to feel and thought he’d be excited, ya know, likes normal human being would. I hardly got anything out of him besides an “I felt it.” So I didn’t get mad or aggravated, I just came back in the living room with his family. I went back in a while later and asked if he even wanted us here, and of course he tried to say he did. But to me, he is not acting like someone who gives a damn about his woman and his children. He thinks he’s doing everything to make me feel wanted and loved, simply because he does a few things for us financially. That to me is not a basis for happinesses. This is so absolutely depressing and embarrassing, I am 100% over this. I deserve better and he’s got to do better or this isn’t going to end pretty.
