They wont decrease. Milk will always be the number one source of nutrition and need for the first year, food is just a supplement and extra. Mine is almost 9 months. Gets food maybe once a week

6mos no sooner their bodies can't really process it...and that's kinda normal my breastmilk is processed much faster than formula.. so they can't go as long with out it...I wouldn't worry too much it will help keep your supply up for the growth spurts and her just growing in general.

My son didn’t start baby food till about 6 months. I tried at 4 months and he was not ready. They say now to wait until 6 months but my doctor okayed 4 months. I think it is really up to the baby. Every baby is different. I would try some baby cereal with breast milk. Just about a tablespoon or so and go from there. Some people don’t even use cereal anymore.
