Braxton hicks are the lower part of your uterus contracting. When labor begins the upper part of your uterus will contract as well and it will be painful and you will definitely notice and now what it is. They should be very consistent as well.

I never noticed my belly getting hard . You know that feeling right before you start your period the “ I think im about to start my period let me put a pad on”? THAT feeling .. but I knew I couldnt cause I was pregnant then I had period cramps that just got worse worse
