If you feel like your child would fall out of their car seat if they were turned upside down and shook why do you think they’re safe in an accident, because that’s exactly what would happen in a roll over. Chest clip arm pit level, straps below shoulders(if rear facing) and tight enough you can’t pinch the fabric! It’s not hard to take an extra 30 seconds to make sure your kid is safe, and no just because your kid is the requirements for a booster doesn’t mean their mature enough to sit right. 😒😒

Also if you need to loosen the straps to fit your baby in with a jacket on guess what that jackets too puffy take it off strap them right and hand them a blanket!
