Okay mommies. I need some serious help. My daughter has slept in my bed since she came home from the hospital (I know it’s very unsafe but it’s literally the only way me or her either one would get any sleep) well now it’s backfired. She absolutely will not go to sleep unless she’s cuddled up beside me. And it wouldn’t be a problem if she hadn’t figured out how to get off of the bed. Since she’s figured that out she’ll wake up and wonder around the bedroom. Luckily I feel her get off the bed so I know what she’s doing I’m just afraid one morning I won’t hear her and she’ll end up getting into something that could hurt her or something. Sooo what’s the best way to crib train with as less of crying as possible. Her crib is in our room so it’s not like she’s gonna be in a separate room

Can you take one side off the crib and put it next to your side of the bed? Kind of like a cosleeper? That way she gets used to the difference of the crib, but is still with you

I worried about that too. So, I child proofed my room, more.

I think of this often. I think she would like her own space but I'm the one holding on. I love her cuddles. But it's time here to do the same 😂

@lizibear84, I tried that 😔 it would work for a night or two but with her being mobile she just crawls back in our bed 😭😭

@cbrebelkat, I have mine about as child proofed as I can get it but she somehow always finds little things to put in her mouth like I can vacuum and as soon as I get done she’s already found a tiny piece of something to chew on 🙄😂

@morganmommy79, I love her cuddles too and I hate that it’s time to for her to sleep in her own bed like it hurts my heart but I guess I don’t have much of a choice anymore lol

@caseyann19, when she crawls back, put her back in her part. The more you do it, the more she’ll learn that that’s her spot. It’s all about consistency. After a few nights she’ll start to get it

@morganmommy79, I’m seriously the same way! Like when she’s asleep in the crib for a little bit I seriously get excited when she wakes up cause I finally get my cuddle buddy lol
