Is 10 too young for a girl to have acrylic nails? Asking for general opinion before saying something to my ex. She came back from her weekend in NC with squared nails. If he and I were together and she wanted acrylic nails we would have told her no.

i have a 10 year old sister & she’s obsessed w/ nails, including fake nails. i don’t think anything is wrong with it as long as it’s not an all the time thing. getting her nails done every once in a while is fine, i guess it just depends on the child

I would say age fourteen is barely acceptable. Ten is way too young and the chemicals are enough for myself to not have them.

Heeeellll no I wouldnt have my ten year old walking around with acrylics. A little manicure is fine but that's as far as I'd go.

I got my first set of acrylic nails at age 8 I don't see anything wrong with it.

I wouldn’t let my daughter get acrylics. Press ons that you do at home or an occasional mom/daughter trip to get a manicure of just nail polish not fake nails I think is okay
