Giiirrrllllll get yourself a driver! You don't know if you gonna have stitches or not! You can't be lifting, standing for long periods of time, driving. You need to let your girl rest and get better. The first 6 weeks try to do nothing. Find a family member to cook for you and what not

I didn’t drive myself home but I did drive like 3 days after being home. But I also didn’t have any stitches or anything.

You cannot drive home after any type of birth you have to either call a cab or have someone drive you !! If you tell them your driving they won't let you leave !

@boymom_ I don't believe it's the law only hospital policy they advise u not to drive cause if u end up in an accident then u could end up really hurt ripping back open but as a parent u have responsibilities they make u take baby to see doc within a few days after going home and some people don't have access to public transportation or have anyone that can help

For any hospitalization you’re not allowed to drive yourself home. It’s for liability purposes. If something happens to you on the way, it becomes he hospitals fault for allowing you to drive

I was never told anything about not driving but after having a baby I already knew I couldn't with my son . I was in so much pain but I daughter I could of but my husband drives . I need to work on my driving lol .

I was driving and going to the store and walking all over doing everything walking up stairs and down stairs the day after having my baby. I went to a birth center so I was at home 3 hours after I gave birth. Never went to a hospital
