Can you pump your milk while you’re pregnant ? And freeze I know that many seem like a dum question because people say they don’t get milk till they have the baby but iv sene some women breastfeed there 1 year old while they where still pregnant till the new baby got here
I started at 17 weeks. The reason women can breastfeed an older sibling while pregnant with the next is because they never stopped lactating. The milk that you are producing right now doesn't have everything your newborn will need, also it's only good to keep for up to 6 months. It's different between feeding a toddler milk youve been producing for a year and storing new colostrum
It's not actual milk being produced right now just colostrum. Pumping could lead to preterm labor if started now that's why they recommend nipple stimulation to help kick start labor. Definitely different when a mom is already breastfeeding. My milk supply actually dropped drastically due to my pregnancy but I'm still bf my daughter but my dr told me to be watch for any signs of "labor " while nursing since it can trigger contractions.

It's not a good idea because it can cause you to go into early labor.
