I never had the experience of having my baby with us. Gracelynn was in the NICU for almost a month.
I'm skeptical of having our 14 month old come to meet her sister but my husband is insisting on going to get her and my mom to visit while we're still in the hospital (my mom won't drive major hwys)

I hated everyone coming to visit and asking. I eventually stopped replying to people because I just wanted to enjoy us being a family of three!

@rachokai, yeah. With my first; she was in the NICU so we only allowed our parents and my sister to see her. There was no touching. We couldn't hold her for the first 4 days. It was the hardest thing to just watch her and see how little she was.
We had a few friends come but it was my husband's 30th bday hours after her spontaneous emergency arrival! We had a bit of a celebration in the hospital but Gracelynn was on a different floor.
This time it's a planned c section. I have a date, obviously certain ppl know because we have our daughter and a dog to be taken care of. We told family on Christmas when the big day is.... and I've been asked a few times. I said no. Then my aunt goes and asks my father if he'd take her to see us after. My dad knows better and didn't even answer. At this moment they are the only ones coming a day or so later because my parents are taking care of Gracelynn for us.
And figured ppl can slowly visit us once we get home and back to normal. My husband can't take a lot of time off; so my mom is going to be staying with us to help me until I can start lifting Gracelynn again.
