I’m so proud of my son, he’s gone almost 3 weeks without nursing and has had no issues at all. It took awhile to get to that point and I was sure I’d be breastfeeding two babies but thankfully our journey has ended only to begin an entirely different journey with my little girl. I am worried about nursing and pumping in front of jax because I don’t want him to feel jealous or left out.. or want to revert back to nursing. I also must admit I am a bit sad to end this journey with him. I never thought I would be able to breastfeed so long with my first born and not really knowing what I was doing. But I exclusively breastfed for over a year with him and then continued breastfeeding until he was 22 months. In that time we were able to donate over 10,000 oz to the NICU and directly to other families who had babies in need. I feel so blessed to have been given that opportunity and I am proud of myself for sticking to it. 🤗
