My baby girl is putting together sentences.

Hearing, “Mama, I ready for night-night!” just about made my heart stop.

Milestones like this are bittersweet. I love seeing her grow, learn new things, and become her own person, but at the same time it hurts a bit. Every new thing she learns means she needs me just a little bit less, and reminds me that one day she’ll be all grown up.

Stay little for just a little while longer, baby girl. Mama’s not ready just yet. 😭❤️
