Things that will help produce more milk. Everytime I pump nothing comes out . Why is that?

Make sure your pump parts are in good condition or new. Make sure the flanges fit your nipple. Eat well and stay hydrated. Use warm towels and breast massage while you pump and look at pictures of your baby. Having baby on you crying can also help. Some moms nurse baby on one side and pump the other during and that gives a little more than normal. Of you're not going back to work there's no real need to pump.

@kimberlymack70, maybe your just like me and only make milk for your baby? Lol. I would have to watch videos of my babies crying and still would only be able to pump like 2 oz!

Are you nursing too? I have never been able to pump well no matter what kind of pump I used... my milk just doesn’t drop for machines. Lol. I never had any problems feeding my babies though and always had more than enough milk for them.

Oh and make sure you have a good pump, you’d be amazed what a good pump does vs a crappy one.

Drink more liquids, skin to skin, try getting baby to latch more than pumping if possible. Theres also some pills called mothers milk that helped my production ALOT...its like $8-$10 at Walgreens/cvs

Mothers milk tea. Don’t supplement, the more you give formula the less you make. Nurse on demand
