I was 220LBS diagnosed with PCOS after taking a year of Depo-provera shot for bc, I stopped having periods for seven years. It took seven years for it to wear off and then lost 100LBS and now I'm starting to have periods and my fertility is finally getting better after all that time.

@queenmomma767 when your underweight you have a higher chance or having a premature baby\underweight baby. Your body might not be able to gain enough weight. Might not ovalute frequently not enough fat causes hormonal imbalance. With that being said I was underweight when I got pregnant and I got pregnant fast and easy my periods were never regular and my pregnancy was a surprise. I was advised to gain 45 pounds while pregnant I gained 40

@skysmommy04 It's not usually getting pregnant that's the part people watch out for it's gestational diabetes and stuff like that.

@queenmomma767 Yes weight can play a part in getting pregnant for some women. I was 225lbs, I decided to start losing weight September 2016. From Sept 2016 to April 2017 I lost 53lbs. I got pregnant June 2017. My dr told me the healthier body was becoming the more fertile I was becoming, and I didn't know it. I actively tried to conceive from 2009-2014 and never got pregnant. Never been on bc.
