Hi do i have any moms who had their nipples pierced prior to pregnancy i really dont want to take them out but im afraid…

I don’t think you have to remove piercings until you give birth. I have my belly button... and another... interesting location. Lol. I’ve had so many doctors ask, “Does that piercing cause you any problems?” Hahaha. The answer is always no.

Made me leak more when i was pregnant and it was getting crusty i took them out becuase it was annoying

@mommy121518, Any issues nursing with nipples that have been pierced? I thought about getting it done after I’m done nursing. But... I may want more kids and want to nurse again in the future. 🤔

I had one side done and ended up taking it out only because my breasts were growing at an extremely rapid pace lol. I’m no longer breast feeding, but when I was, my son preferred the side that I had pierced.

I did a lot of research on it and you can. You should just take the jewelry out while nursing and make sure the area is clean. When you’re done nursing just put the jewelry back in and you should be fine 😊 I only took mine out because of my breasts growing so quickly while pregnant that it became painful. But everything I had looked up says there’s no issue with it. You just don’t wanna have jewelry in while nursing so it doesn’t fall out into baby’s mouth.
