Why do some moms ask questions, then you give them answers or tell them about your experience and they shoot your response down like they are so high and mighty? Like why tf even ask people for an opinion, advice, ect...??🤔🤔

@tiapowlowski I noticed a lot of it is, some respond better to an opinion or advice they were looking for or agree with. For instance, husband cheating, but I love him, what should I do? Answer they want to hear- counseling, it will work vs. real advice- leave him.

@noturprops oh I agree! Like they know what they want to hear and if your response isn't what they wanted to hear they get all defensive.. Like then don't even bother asking. It's so annoying.

@tiapowlowski Right. I think when we are seeking advice or just posting on a public site, we should be open minded with it. Not everyone thinks the same and sometimes different perspectives are a real blessing.

Likewise! I love hearing other people's opinions and perspectives on things. Sometimes people have better ideas, or ways of handling things that you might not have thought of.
