Schools are ridiculous. I remember when I was in school it would “feel like” -20, but if the “temperature” was -5 or higher we still had school. There’s so many kids who either wait outside for the bus or have to walk to school. And this negative Wether just isn’t okay. Even when it feels like a negative. I don’t know what they’re thinking anymore...

@firsttimemommy017 right, they have snow days anyway yeah it's not snowing but them temperatures they still should have closed School. Either way they're getting paid I'll write her an excuse note when she goes to school next week. I was watching the news and they said that frostbite can set in if you're outside for 10 to 20 minutes and that was for little kids. I already had in my mind that she wasn't going to school I just wanted to see if they were closed the schools because of the temperatures but of course not no two hour delay or anything.

The real feel is -1 here so not to bad glad my babies aren't in school that live with me anyway. My oldest goes to school but he is with his real momma. I hope she dressed him warm.

@gallofamily.6 yeah I hope so too, -1 omg my heat that would be up as far as I can go it is too cold. The crazy part is I have my heat on 80 and I can still feel the cold air.

It's supposed to get up to 50s here this weekend so that I am looking forward to it has been so cold.

@meetthevalentines2017 see they were smart, I know in my area they hardly want to close schools because of that a lot student don't really have food at home. so by the schools being open they know that those children are guaranteed two meals. I wasn't no fool I didn't send my daughter to school.
