Jealous lol. My step kids mother doesn't even let them use a microwave or fix their own plates or run their own bath. So when they came for their visits they know nothing they should at 4 and 6. Now they live with us and me and hubby are making them learn. I refuse to have kids that can't cook for themselves or make their own plate

@ilovemykids97 oh wow that's crazy my daughter knows how to clean up after herself take trash out wash dishes put clothes in the washer she loves that stuff all the time so I allow her to do it.

It's rediculous how their mother treats them. They aren't allowed to do anything like that for themselves. But I refuse to put up with that. I was cooking full meals at 5-6 years old

@ilovemykids97 I would let my daughter use the microwave or make a sandwich but cooking now not without my supervision and not all the time. They are still kids and need to be.

She's only 2 lol I meant like when I was about my step kids age. I've told them to use the microwave and they get upset because they don't know how so then I have to go show them

@ilovemykids97 yeah I know I still mean when she is there age they can do it now and then but for most of the time I will help or assist.
