It took my pregnancy to show me how truly FAKE && SELFISH my best friend really is . I don’t really…

I’m dealing with this right now! She acts way too fake, inconsiderate and is disrespectful but keeps claiming she’s going to be my daughters god mother and in the room when I give birth yet I didn’t offer either of those opportunities to her. I had to let go of that friendship today. It hurts, but it’s worth it. I can’t prepare for and raise my child and try to fix a friendship with one at the same time.

@brittany_blessing, Yes . Which is very unfortunate because it’s like these are the moments when you would need a friend or their support the most . I’m sorry that you had to go through that as well . I knew my friend since we were 6 years old . It’s kinda suck that it had to end this way when we’re just really starting our life. But I agree with you that I feel like it’s much more important to worry about you and your child rather than fixing a friendship . As of right now that’s the least of my worries too

I went through the exact same thing in the beginning of my pregnancy and I just dropped her because I don’t need all that drama in my life and neither does my baby boy. Her loss not mine!

@brittany_s, feel you on that . Especially when you’ve been nothing but a good persons all along . It just shows you within Time life will show you people true colors

@lana2018, yeah . Understandable . Trust me I’ve been babysitting since I could remember and I still don’t think I’ll be prepared for my baby boy 🤣. Hopefully she’ll be more of a friend and just be there and less of a show off !

@breathecarter, yes for sure. We were friends for almost 9 years and she always treated me like I didn’t matter or like I couldn’t have an opinion and I just got tired of it

@brittany_s, I’m glad that you took a stand now rather than later . The people that love and care for you will be there for you and be kind to you no matter what

@lana2018, no offense to her but every baby is different so only you and your s/o will know how to take care of your baby . Instead of her telling you what to do she should just say hey I know this works out for such n such maybe you should try this if what you’re doing doesn’t work out . Instead of sounding like she’s trying to raise your baby for you .

@natalieannhicks13, you could say that again . I’m getting too old to be going back n forth with somebody who has no reason to be so selfish to me when all I’ve done was be there for her . Especially when the roles was reversed .

@natalieannhicks13, yes I’m very fortunate to have my other friends family and bf that supports me unconditionally.
