Try white noise music on YouTube helps..dim the light in room he's asleep in and yeah patting their back helps..i always massage all my 3 son's face works *every time*don't talk at all when he cries just massage his face it works and if he uses pacifier i like to use a light recieveing blanket near it.my son's loved it

I’m trying to get my baby to sleep in his bassinet all night and he will go to bed in it then wake up screaming at around 11 and then 1 then 3 then 5 and so on! I can’t get him to self soothe in the middle of the night at all! He just wants to be held and that’s that...I am trying to get him to be able to get changed get a bottle and go back to bed but it is difficult and cry it out method seems real difficult but I would love to try it soon!

@sherrynygirl, he has a fan in his room I keep on for the noise so he’s used to that ! & his room is pitch black lol , he spits out the pacifier while crying so I hold it while rubbing his back .. I went every 5-10 mins to comfort , and he gave up 1 hr later , thank you !!

@tiffanyf maybe he's teething? Sometimes they just cry while asleep or fight their sleep..let him sleep in stroller or on your bed until he falls into a deep sleep

@hthomas0308, they say 6 Months is the time too ! I decided to start today because idk why the past month he keeps waking up ! I get 4-5 hrs of broken sleep a night and me him and his father are just exhausted and it’s frustrating !! I know it will be worth it but I hate to hear him like that .. & do you hold him a lot during the day ? Maybe he’s used to just being held ? Or just wants the comfort of his mommy

@sherrynygirl, not teething ! He got sick a couple weeks back and was sleeping terribly ever since than it feels like it became a routine at night .. as soon as the pacifier will fall out his mouth he will wake up crying . I’m getting up 10-12 times a night JUST to put him back to sleep NOT including feedings 😩

Happened like that and poof 2 teeth came out in 10 days of no sleep for him or me and i work full time so was a horrible 10 days i felt like a zombie:;/

Those are the hardest u lay your head on your pillow and sec s they wake up crying its hard stage

@tiffanyf, omg girl! I know how you feel haha mason slept with my until a few months ago 🤣🤣 I’m such a baby when it comes to my kids! And now I do the same thing with B I hear her cry or wine I’m like oh let me pick her up lolol

@mamamiaof2, awwww !! Lol and yea he’s been sleeping in his crib since h was 1 month !! I couldn’t do the cosleeping I was uncomfortable cause I move too much 😭 & yea Omar always says I spoil him 🤦🏼‍♀️ “ you never let him cry “ OH WELL!!! Lol

@tiffanyf, I do hold him a lot! Trust me my friends let me know that I hold him too much too and I’m very over protective they say which isn’t a bad thing I don’t think, he definitely knows he’s loved! I got a baby activity center for him that he sits/stands in! And so now he will go in that and it’s better for me to be able to get things done Around the house and him to be independent
