Hey ladies! Seeking advice.. I’ve been working for a family as a nanny for about 8 months and what can I say everyday is worst! I watch a 3,5, & 12 yr old.. It started well but the 12 yr old makes my life miserable.. she purposely destroys the house after I’ve cleaned it and ignores me and yells at me.. I’m really fed up but I don’t know how to quit.. my boss their mom has treated me nice and has even let me use her bmw for work purposes and even on the weekends to ride around since I don’t have a car.. I’m honestly really thankful for that but then again I feel like I’m her puppet I started working from like 7-4 and now I’m working most day from 7-6/7 ish !! And even lowered my pay.. I really ready to quit but don’t know how to tell her..😒 if anyone has advice please let me know.. thank y’all!

Why did she Lower your pay? Tell her you have to have higher pay or you’ll have to find something that pays better
Address her on a business level not personal
Say “I’m just not making enough money here I need to find something that pays more “

@lost.sock.thief, she lowered it since two of her kids went to go live with their dad but then one of them came back and kept paying me the same

@deli18, just tell her you need more income to be able to live comfortably just make it strictly business you have no reason to feel guilty or bad for leaving

I’m just really nervous since I have her car.. I don’t want to be ungrateful and just leave her hanging but then again I want to quit! Lol
