@michellelee1510, idk how to even approach it because she was a nurse before so she thinks she knows all of that stuff. She wanted to suggest toward facing earlier this year when my son was just over a year old. I just wish people would keep their damn mouths closed when it came to that shit.

I would keep the gift and use it when he’s ready. You’re the mommy you’re the boss. But here in Indiana the law is that a child has to stay rear facing until the age of 2 then can be turned around but kids should not be in a booster seat for a few more years. Therefore they’re facing forward but must remain in a car seat.

@crystal.newman, exactly. And that’s what I’m saying, they don’t even use booster seats until they’re like 4 or 5 right?

Yeah my mom said 5 years old is the time to put them in a booster seat but you’re not suppose to put them in like the little booster seat. More of the tall full ones that look like a tall chair. Know what I mean? Apparently those are safer and you put them in the small booster seats when they’re older @babyjjsmommy,

2 years old is just way toooooo young for a booster seat and knowing my daughter she would find the seat belt button and unlock herself. @babyjjsmommy, she already tries to unbuckle her car seat belts.

And he shouldn’t even forward face because he’s only 28 lbs anyway
